Freyja - Sow Production Management
Freyja is sow production management software that records matings, farrowings, weanings, health and feed in the barn - offline-capable on mobile - and turns them into real-time worklists and dashboards.
Built for farm owners, barn workers and consultants, from smallholders to multi-site integrators. Works with any genetics, in any country. Available in 78 languages.

Real-time KPI dashboard
Farrowing rate, pre-weaning mortality, NPD per litter, litters per sow per year, weaned per sow per year, sow mortality, replacement rate - seven headline KPIs recalculate the moment a barn event is recorded, each with its published formula one click away.

Exception alerts, not weekly reports
Seven exception rules - open sows not re-served, gilts overdue for first service, litters lactating too long, and more - run continuously against your own farm's protocol settings and surface as one number. Click in to see exactly which animals triggered it.

Weekly trend, eight weeks at a glance
Services, farrowings, liveborn and weaned per litter - bar charts for the last 8 ISO weeks with the period average as a dashed line, so a bad week stands out the day it happens, not a month later.

52-week long range
A full year of farrowing rate plotted against target, alongside services volume from 17 weeks earlier - the leading indicator that tells you the number before it becomes this month's result.

Worklists that plan themselves
Pregnancy checks, diet changes, crate moves, farrow due, wean due, vaccinations - every task is derived automatically from each sow's own service date, not built by hand in a spreadsheet.

Full lifecycle record per sow
Parity history, pedigree, and a complete event timeline - every service, farrowing and weaning traceable back to the exact record that produced it, with a printable QR card for barn-side lookup.

Sow status board
Every sow in one filterable list - gilt, served, gestating, pre-farrow prep, farrowing, lactating, weaned, cull decision - so barn staff always see who's next without asking.

Wallboard QR sharing
Generate a QR code for a public read-only dashboard link - pin it in the barn office or scan it on a phone. No login needed to check today's numbers.

Individual pig passport tracking
Opt any litter into individual tracking and every piglet gets its own record - sex, breed cross, barn, age in days, and status (active, sold, dead, culled) - not just a headcount against the litter.

Feed deliveries and consumption, logged
Every delivery and every consumption entry timestamped and tied to a feed item and barn - the full trail behind your on-hand inventory and cost-per-kg numbers, not just a snapshot.

Who is Freyja for?
Farm owners and managers, barn workers doing daily entry, and consultants working across multiple farms - from under 100 sows to 10,000+ sow multi-site operations.
Does it need an internet connection in the barn?
No. Barn entry works offline on mobile and syncs automatically when connectivity returns.
Does Freyja require specific genetics or country setups?
No. Freyja is standalone and works with any genetics supplier, in any country, with metric units and per-user language selection.
How does Freyja relate to DeepLoop OS?
Freyja is the production-records platform by DeepLoop. DeepLoop OS adds camera-based AI monitoring; together, detections can feed straight into your herd records and workflows.
How much does Freyja cost?
Free for one farm, up to 200 sows, one seat plus the owner. Paid tiers (Pro, Pro Max, Enterprise) raise the farm, seat and sow caps and add multi-farm rollup, full P&L and custom permissions - see the pricing table above. Outgrow the Free tier's 200-sow or 1-farm cap and the app doesn't lock you out mid-record: it flags the limit and prompts an upgrade, so a growing operation never loses access to data it already entered.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV export is built into the app, covering your farm's records.
Can I import from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Bulk CSV import for sow records, with validation on each row before it's committed.
What counts as a seat?
One seat = one person's login on that farm. Free includes 4 (owner + 3), Pro 10, Pro Max 30, Enterprise unlimited.
Is there a mobile app?
WIP - in development for a future release.
What does multi-farm rollup show?
The same four headline KPIs as your single-farm dashboard, aggregated across every farm under one holding - Pro is capped at 1 farm, so this is a Pro Max+ feature.
How is cost-per-weaned-piglet calculated?
Feed consumed (kg) x cost per kg, divided by piglets weaned. Cost-per-kg-gain divides feed cost by the actual weight gain of the current head count.
Are the exception rules customizable?
Two of the seven (overdue-to-farrow, still-suckling) read your farm's own gestation and lactation lengths, not a fixed default. The rest use fixed clinical thresholds.
